Complicated Workings...


HDR made from 13 1-stop bracketed jpgs from a single RAW.

This is my entry into :iconmovement-and-space: photography challenge to post an image that represents you... [link]

When I first read the blog, I thought of taking the inner workings of a clock... But then thought on and took the back off my old pocket watch (bought for me by my grandmother when I was working in the Colliery) and photographed that close up...

The rationale behind it is that despite the (watch) face looking relatively complex free it belies the inner workings that make everything move... And that is how I want to represent myself, the outside belies the complicated workings inside... :D

Very nice, Andy. Very nice. Perhaps that's why I like clocks so much? I'm still trying to figure why. Other than, I get lost in time, and time gets lost on me, and time is valuable, and... clocks are just pretty to me, and with so much variety? :D

maby you could have corrected the chomatic abliterations, this is very easy compared to making an HDRi that is ok to look at.
